Neck liposuction

Neck liposuction improves the angle that is formed between the jaw and the neck, resulting in a slimmer and younger face. There is a need to evaluate if the excess neck volume is due to fat, which would benefit completely with liposuction, or if there is already excess skin and muscle weakness of the neck, which would have to be corrected with a neck lift.

The surgery is performed through small cuts of 3-5 mm behind the earlobes, as well as below the chin, which are completely hidden from the front, and at the end of the healing process, practically wounds are not visible.

Important aspects of recovery:

-The sutures are removed 5 days after surgery.

-The inflammation is accentuated the first 2-3 days after surgery, so some care must be followed when exerting efforts, and medications and local cold can be used to reduce the inflammation.

-The final result takes between 3-6 months, however, from the first week a change in the shape of the face can be observed.

-It is important to watch your diet after surgery (if you gain a lot of weight, the result may not be noticeable or it may be very subtle).
